and since that was Black Friday, he would have risen on Monday? Why celebrate Sunday then? Yes Im an ******Is it not true, the bible says Jesus rose three days after he was crucified?
I always say this.....keep in mind they all thought the earth was flat back then.Is it not true, the bible says Jesus rose three days after he was crucified?
At the last passover, Jesus said to his apostles: ';Do this in rememberence of me';. He wanted his death celebrated because it is what redeemed mankind. Easter is a pagan saxon holiday in worship of the ';god of fertility';, Eastre'. The clergy brought it into their churches as a way to appeal to the church goers-convincing them to stay and to bring in new ones. Jesus died on Nisan 14th after sundown. Since our calendar is different, Nisan 14th falls on a different day each year. This year it was Thursday April 9th.

I think it's because friday was the day he got buried and they count from that day as the first day being dead. It could also be a conspiracy to get people to come to church on sunday :p who knows. I know sabath still means saturday in every language.
Umm no offence. but the bible has been changed several times so i dont know how you could fully trust it..
Umm He never ROSE! he was raised to the hevans and came back
HE NEVER DIED... that makes NO SENCE!
Thats why if your confused dont be just tell yourself the bibles original text was right but now everything in it is NOT! :D

black friday is not the day Christ died on the cross!
sunday is the sabbath day ...
easter is in April because of earths rotation...it's when there is more sunlight on earth, or the birth of the sun, spring... look it up.
No! the bible says the first day he was put to death and the third day he rose from the dead!
Friday first day
Saturday second day
Sunday third day
It's not black Friday, it's Good Friday. Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when there are a bunch of sales; it has nothing to do with any religion.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Sunday the way I count is 3 days.
dude all holidays are fake, their not in the bible. i guess we just picked this day to celebrate it because...just because....do u really think they said ';jesus was born december 25'; in the bible?
Why nit-pick over unimportant and unknown details? I think you need more important things to focus on.
Actually Easter Monday is celebrated in many countries..not mine though.
Not really. What it states is that three days after he was sealed in the tomb, he rose.
He actually died on a Thursday.
I thought Black Friday was the day after Thanksgiving.
he rose on the third day and friday counted as the first in hebrew tradition.
according to the JEWISH calendar Friday STARTS at SUNDOWN Thursday.... but I don't know WHY you should be troubled by the FACTS %26amp; REALITY of the issue.... think what you want...
who cares let them celebrate...air
The Bible has a tendency to ';enhance'; the truth.
Sunday is God's holy day
Nope, not true. None of that myth is reality.
no, they count friday as day one.
it doesnt matter as long as you work it in your schedule ..
who cares
No he didn't rise from the dead. You're right.
