What religion did Jesus adopt in his lifetime? Is it submission to the one true God?

He was an Essene, a sect like the Saducees, but who believed in astral projection, past lives and even reincarnation, although these items were never mentioned in the 'bible' , thanks to a certain pagan emperor and a power-hungry church that made it plain they would do whatever it took to retain their contol over the population. He was a great man, though, without doubt, and I regard his message of peace and love as being non-denominational.What religion did Jesus adopt in his lifetime? Is it submission to the one true God?
wrong. Jesus never believed in reincarnation but in resurrection.and there are 3 of them in REVElation. Study up folks..

What religion did Jesus adopt in his lifetime? Is it submission to the one true God?
I'd argue that Jesus didn't adopt any ';religion';...religion is nothing more and nothing less than man's attempt to put God in a box...a human perception of God and his will that's rooted in human weakness and ignorance. Jesus had no need for religion because he already understood the mind of God.

Some would suggest that he adopted Judiasm but I don't think that's accurate...he was certainly born Jewish and he followed the teachings of that faith to the extent that those teachings didn't conflict with what he knew to be true about the will of God. However, he also spent too much time speaking out against the human trappings of that religion to be considered a follower of that religion.

Yes, if you want to call being submissive to God a religion then Jesus was certainly submissive to his father. Again, I don't agree that's accurate because truly submitting to the will of God is inconsistent with being submissive to the collective rules or prescriptions of a group of people who added even one human interpretation to their creation.
Jesus lived His life according to the 10 commandments given to Moses, but not the law of the Pharisees.

He submitted to the one true God, even when that one true God decreed that He should die a humiliating and excruciating death on the Roman crucifix.
Jesus: born a Jew, lived as a Jew, died as a Jew.

He taught Judaism: 'love thy neighbour' is first found in the TORAH.

Jesus didn't 'adopt' Judaism - he was born into a Jewish family; his parents were Jewish, his siblings were Jewish.

And in fact, Jesus was a fairly religious Jew; he opposed divorce, for example, which many Jews were not so against.

Jesus just wanted to reform some aspects of Judaism; he never LEFT Judaism.
According to Christianity, Jesus is God.

According to Islam, Jesus was a prophet of Allah

According to Judaism, Jesus was a blasphemer?
Jesus was a Jew. He himself supposedly insisted that he came to ';fulfill the Law, not abolish it';.

Of course, time and human fallibility have doubtless obscured what he really might have said...if anything.
answer=Jesus came as promised to the Jewish people born there and more, and kept the religion of this people and fulfilled the Messiah prophecies, so he submitted to the Book of the true God and came to fulfill the Jewish law for us as required by God. Mohamad teaches Only Jesus is the Messiah and sinless to SET FREE.

MOses gave a key ';Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.'; Leviticus 17:11

that is how he will for us

SET FREE=

Micah 5:1%26amp;2 He shall come to Bethlehem from eternity.

ANSWER=How SET FREE? =prophecy of Messiah Jesus is found many times in Isaiah

Isaiah 7:14 to be born a miracle and be God with us = THE HEBREW WORD Imanuel

AND FOR VIRGIN HEBREW for an alma-which is always an unmarried virgin maiden in Jewish scriptures, not the bethula type disputers claim to be the virgin, she is the one living as a virgin, who had had a husband in her youth=Joel 1:9)

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 ';He will be exaulted... First marred more than any man, and lay down his life to make atonement/forgiveness for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. And then he will see his spiritual seed and prosper. '; Psalm 22 says his seed will be ounted as one generation, because favor will return to the Jewish people when Messiah returns and Jewish time will begin again when the favorable time to the Gentiles and the Jewish people is ended, and the judgement of the gentiles that reject the Messiah Jesus begins.

more on this and how I came to know the truth=

pray its important

Isaiah 9:6 ';Unto us a child is born, a son is given, and he is mighty God, wonderful counselor, the everlasting father, and the prince of peace.';

said to the Jewish man that came to him as recorded in John 3 ';Except you repent of sin and be born again, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven.';

Messiah speaks from heaven Revelation 1:1 chapter 1 verse 1 %26amp; 3:19%26amp;20 ';I love you and ask you to repent of sin quickly. Behold I am at your heart door and knock to come in, ask me in and i will enter and be your friend.';

so i prayed, Help me Jesus, I am sorry for even one lie and all my other sins, come into my heart and be my friend, amen.';

once you do that with all your heart you will be on the right tract/things will go fine, and when they dont Jesus will be with you to help you fulfill Romans 1:16 unashamed and chapters 9-11 a greatest blessing for you as promised.

I pray everything works out for the best for you ADOPTED IN GOD AND SUBMITTED TOO TO THE ONE TRUE GOD who can take on any form, like h2o can be water steam or ice but its always h2o, God is always God even if he comes like His book says to earth in Bethlehem from Eternity

great question, David
Jesus was born a Jew %26amp; they believe in the same one God as the Christians do.

Jesus live his life by allowing God to work through him, so in a way you are right in saying about submission to the one true God.
Jesus spoke about his interpretation of practices within Judaism, and observed all Jewish holidays and customs. Pretty much, I would say that he was a Jewish.
The religion is Christianity and yes Jesus submitted to one true God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Jesus was Jewish. The last supper was Passover, not Sunday dinner after church.
Jesus was a Jew and in Judaism they believe in one true God.
Jesus was raised as a jew but he was God in the flesh.
Jesus had one mission in life to obey his Father.
Jesus was a Jew.

Why else would the ';Last Supper'; have been a Passover celebration?
Jesus was a Jew, born and died.
Jesus was a man who belived in the one and only God
Blind belief is dangerous and destructive!. Bible tells us to prove things.

(I Thessalonians 5:21): “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”

The teachings of the Church contradict the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and that is the cause of the confusion. If a sincere christian who wants to follow Jesus, asks priests about trinity, the answer that he gets is ';It is a Mystery, not explained by Jesus clearly';, at that time again those forget that Jesus said,

';I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing'; (John 18:20 (NKJ)).

';God is not a God of confusion.';—1 Corinthians 14:33, Revised Standard Version (RS).

There was no mystery in the message of Jesus, nothing secret. Will you accept the priests' so called ';mystery of trinity'; and forget clear commandments of Jesus? Trinity or divinity of Jesus to be anywhere close to basis of chritain faith would have to be there in bible in clear words in any even one book of bible, with Jesus saying I am God, worship me, which is not. Doesn't it mean something to you.

Jesus clearly said:

A) Mark 12:29: ';the Lord our God, the lord is One';.

B) Metthew: 26:39: ';He went a little farther and fell on His face and prayed'; (Following Jesus way is following what he did). Jesus prayed to one God

C) Matthew 4:10 ';You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only you shall serve';

D) John 14:28 reads-- '; You heard that I said to you,I am going away and i am coming back to you. If you loved me , you would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father,BECAUSE THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I AM';

E) Mark 13:32: ';But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.';

F) John 5:19: ';Most truly I say to you, the son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative but only what he beholds the father doing.';

G) Matthew 19:17. ';And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.';

H) Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me

John 7:16

What if Jesus were to ask these questions to you today:

Question 1. Why did u address your devotions to me instead it should have been to true God? Did I ever direct u to do it, or porpose myself as an object of religious worship?

Question 2 . When my disciples requested me to teach them to pray(Luke 11: 1-2),did I teach them to pray to myself or to any person but Father?

“Do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?”—John 10:36.

The trinity is a doctrine from about the year 325 AD, It has its roots in polytheism, pagan religion, and pagan philosophy (most probably added to christianity by humans to make it more acceptable to worshippers of more than one God). It is not in the bible unless you really, really stretch it to fit.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia - 1967, VOL. XIV, PAGE 299:

The formulation ';one God in three Persons'; was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, PRIOR TO THE END OF THE 4TH CENTURY. But it is precisely this formulation that first claimed to title ';The Trinitarian Dogma. AMONG THE APOSTOLIC FATHERS, THERE HAD BEEN NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY APPROACHING SUCH A MENTALITY OR PERSPECTIVE.

You should not accept the word “son” literally . Word ';son'; was used in bible for general human beings and other prophets also. ';we all are the children of father in heavens'; indicates that word ';son'; was used in different meaning of love and care.

Mathew: 5:9. ';Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.”

Exodus 4:22.

“And thou (Moses) shalt say unto Pharaoh, thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn.”

Jesus, Moses, Mohammad (p.b.u.h), they all worshiped the same God, the God of Ibrahim. All prophets taught ';surrendering one's will to God'; that is the meaning of word ';Islam';. Word ';christianity'; did not exist at the time of Christ, but you will find Jesus teachings to be ';surrender your will to God'; in bible many times.

JAMES 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Mohammad (peace be upon him) was also a messenger of God, who never claimed to be God, the same way Jesus or Moses never claimed to be God, nor did they ever say worship me. There was just not one holy book sent by God on earth through His messengers. The last one had to be there to correct mistakes in the previous ones. The last testiment from the same source, with many similarities, but correcting mistakes in earlier ones made by humans.

If only the genuine followers of Jesus, who truly love him, read the Bible in context, and study the Qur’an, they will definitely reach the conclusion that GOD IS ONE, without any partners; and Jesus (pbuh) the son of Mary (pbuh) is a messenger of GOD!

Muslims love Jesus, they believe in his miraculous birth with the will of God without a father or sexual act (the way Adam was born without a mother and father), , they believe in miracles that Jesus performed with permission of God, muslims faith demands them to believe Jesus was a great prophet of God and belief in the original message of Jesus the massaya.

Qur’an, revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (an illiterate person, who didn't know how to read or write) some 600 years after Jesus, (pbut) corrects the errors that crept (knowingly or unknowingly) into the message that Jesus brought. This book was not preserved on paper or in one church but in hearts of thousands of muslims who memorised Quran word by word the way it was revealved and recited it daily 5 times in prayers. After Mohammad (pbuh), there was not even one dispute about a word of Quran in compiling it, that's how what you see today is only one original Quran in arabic with exact words in each one of them. Till today there have been billions of muslims who have memorised Quran by heart word by word, never found for any other book. Quran should prove to be a very valuable asset to both Muslims and Christians.

Quran: [4:171] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, ';Trinity.'; You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.

[4:172] The Messiah would never disdain from being a servant of GOD, nor would the closest angels. Those who disdain from worshiping Him, and are too arrogant to submit, He will summon them all before Him.

[4:173] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, He will fully recompense them, and shower them with His grace. As for those who disdain and turn arrogant, He will commit them to painful retribution. They will find no lord beside GOD, nor a savior.

[5:73] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is a third of a trinity. There is no god except the one god. Unless they refrain from saying this, those who disbelieve among them will incur a painful retribution.

In Quran 57:27,God Say,

“Then, We sent after them, Our Messengers, and We sent Jesus son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him, compassion and mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves; We did not prescribe for them, but (they sought it) only to please Allah therewith, but that they did not observe it with the right observance. So We gave those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious sinners.”

Would you really believe in some twisted and vague words in Bible that people try to use divinity of Jesus.in Bible, written after 50-300 years after Jesus by people who never met him. Jesus spoke Armaic, not English or any other language. Just one word ';Gay'; has changed its meaning in just 50 years, what would happen to something written 50 years after Jesus and translated hundreds of times, and till now corrections happening? Will you go by just one unclear statement in Bible added by humans in it, and ignore clear commandments of Jesus.

Decide whether you love Jesus and want to follow his clear words and be saved, or love other human beings who gave different meaning to his original words. Reject any idea that makes you think of God in three distinct images or forms, follow Jesus and Mohammad p.b.u.h who said God is one, without any partner.
