What is the true hope that Jesus taught?

“ALL THOSE IN THE MEMORIAL TOMBS”

The Bible’s resurrection accounts teach us much about the resurrection to come. People who were restored to life right here on earth were reunited with their loved ones. The future resurrection will be similar—but much better. As we learned in Chapter 3, God’s purpose is that the whole earth be made into a paradise. So the dead will not be raised to life in a world filled with war, crime, and sickness. They will have an opportunity to live forever on this earth in peaceful and happy conditions.

Who will be resurrected? Jesus said that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) Similarly, Revelation 20:13 says: “The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them.” “Hades” refers to the common grave of mankind. (See the Appendix.) This collective grave will be emptied. All those billions who rest there will live again. The apostle Paul said: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) What does that mean?

“The righteous” include many of the people we read about in the Bible who lived before Jesus came to the earth. You might think of Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Ruth, Esther, and many others. Some of these men and women of faith are discussed in the 11th chapter of Hebrews. But “the righteous” also include Jehovah’s servants who die in our time. Thanks to the resurrection hope, we may be freed from any dread of dying.—Hebrews 2:15.

In Paradise, the dead will rise and be reunited with their loved ones

What about all the people who did not serve or obey Jehovah because they never knew about him? These billions of “unrighteous” ones will not be forgotten. They too will be resurrected and given time to learn about the true God and to serve him. During a period of a thousand years, the dead will be resurrected and given an opportunity to join faithful humans on earth in serving Jehovah. It will be a wonderful time. This period is what the Bible refers to as Judgment Day.

Does this mean that every human who ever lived will be resurrected? No. The Bible says that some of the dead are in “Gehenna.” (Luke 12:5) Gehenna got its name from a garbage dump located outside of ancient Jerusalem. Dead bodies and garbage were burned there. The dead whose bodies were thrown there were considered by the Jews to be unworthy of a burial and a resurrection. So Gehenna is a fitting symbol of everlasting destruction. Although Jesus will have a role in judging the living and the dead, Jehovah is the final Judge. (Acts 10:42) He will never resurrect those whom he judges to be wicked and unwilling to change.

you make a great work, because you are sharing this wonderful hope; thus that is the matter, I don't care if you copy and paste. THANKS A LOT FOR THIS SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE.What is the true hope that Jesus taught?
All will be resurrected, but some to life, and some to judgment, or the second death. Everyone who is alive now still has time to make the right choice. You don't know when your life will end, and when it does there will be no choice.
good job, girl... don't give up, keep on sharing divine purpose, because this is a great way in what your love is shown.
it is a great work to give comfort... that is why in spite people to be rude sometimes you must not stop, you should preach every day wherever...
Jesus is nothing more than a character in fairy tale.

You are sick and in need of help. You are in the clutches of a mind control cult.
Fictional none sense from a Fictional book...

as usual some moron wants to explain it or justify the fictional story..
The bible is not fictional! God is real! And the evolutionist's theory is a lie!!!
Salvation!
LOVE and compassion for mankind.
Listen to the God that speaks from within you, not to the loonies that wrote the Bible.
I think the hope of Jesus is the faith that heaven is better than anything we can ever imagine.
The hope of his Fathers Kingdom .
That if you're lucky, he might save you from his own wrath...
Whoever smelt it, dealt it...
Why all the copy/ paste action?
The Hope is the FACT He IS GOD!! %26lt;')))%26gt;%26lt;
Let's put it this way, it is not THE 0bama
Ok, so you know how to copy and paste. Why don't you try thinking for yourself for a change?
Your Jesus was just an angel, not the Creator God thus you have a false Christ.

Colossians 2:18

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.
Jesus alone is our hope.

When Jesus went to the place of the skull his blood restored communication between God and man and began a new creation wherein dwells righteousness. This is not some future event but now.

The hope we have with Jesus in our hearts is the very essence of the nature of God, being love, faith and hope. There is now (not in some future garden on earth) no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus.

No condemnation means no judgment and Scripture supports this saying, by the Holy Spirit, that all men will be judged by every word that comes out of their own mouth.

When any man stands before Pure Love, which is the person and essence of the God who became man, then all men become silent. Thus it will be at the final judgment.

Now the question becomes, change to what you believe and have written or change and take on the nature of Jesus Christ? No belief system will justify a man before God. As it is written, the cross is foolishness to those who perish.

Christ is our hope and our hope is built on Jesus name alone because God has placed every name under that name; including the name Jehovah that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things on earth.

Jesus Christ does not bring resurrection; he is resurrection and he is life.

For that reason he is my hope and that of countless Christians over the ages.

John 3:16-17 (New International Version)

16';For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
i dont care if this person copied and pasted

so what that doesnt change the fact that they want to know the answer

what jesus taught us to do is to live a righteous life in the hopes of eternal life with him in heaven jesus will judge us based on how we lived here on earth

i believe that god will not persecute people of buddhism or hinduism or other religions because those people might have lived good lives worshipping a higher being which is God so they just worship in a different way
