Three times Jesus said that He was the Lord of Sunday, making it the Lord's day. Isn't this true?

I believe Jesus said He was Lord of the Sabbath, not Sunday...

edit: I wonder if Shay realizes that by referring to Acts 20:7, when it speaks of the disciples gathering on the first day of the week and Paul continuing to preach until mid-night, since the next day began at sundown in biblical times it is just as reasonable to assume they gathered on what we call Saturday evening and Paul preached until what we would now consider mid-night Saturday night. This is hardly evidence that we should now worship on Sunday.Three times Jesus said that He was the Lord of Sunday, making it the Lord's day. Isn't this true?
Perhaps this might help:

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

—Acts 20:7

Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

—1 Corinthians 16:1-2

By Christ's resurrection on the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1), His continued appearances on succeeding Sundays (John 20:26), and the descent of the Holy Spirit on Sunday (Acts 2:1), the early church was given the pattern of Sunday worship.

The early church met on Sunday regularly (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2).

Sunday worship was further hallowed by our Lord who appeared to John in that last great vision on ';the Lord's day'; (Revelation 1:10).

It is for these reasons that most Christians worship on Sunday, rather than on the Jewish Sabbath.Three times Jesus said that He was the Lord of Sunday, making it the Lord's day. Isn't this true?
No, as the word ';Sunday'; in nowhere in any version of the Bible (except for The Message %26amp; the NLT which are jokes). And the calender, that that word originates from, didn't even exist then.

Besides, why would Jesus have even said that? He was a Jew and would have gone to Synagogue on Saturday (since that is the Jewish Sabbath)?
no.....the first day of the week is a work day....

Jesus is the Lord of THE Sabbath because he is the Alpha and the Omega, the creator at the beginning, he created all days.

shay...that was a business of the coming week breakfast meeting and planning meeting....nothing of worship or anything.
No. The reason that Sunday is considered the Sabbath to Christians is because it was the day that Christ rose from the dead. Jews have Saturday and Muslims honor Friday.
Jesus is Lord of all things and all days. There is nothing He is not Lord of.
Wow, I would love to see someone try to cite book, chapter and verse to show that!

It is as false as can be.
Don't know... I don't read the Bible
