Christians? is it really true that God/Jesus will be returning soon to sort things out?

The world was such a horrible place before Jesus made his first appearance to ';save'; us wasn't it? You know what I mean.... Modern humans have been around for at least 100 thousand years according to biologists/anthropologists and during that time there was so much suffering, so much disease, famine, poverty, starvation. There were also many wars and fights and needless death, so much needless destruction caused my man, as well right? So much SIN!





So god finally decided that after 98 thousand years of watching this go on, he should impregnate a Jewish ';virgin'; that would give birth to his ';son'; who would then be crucified in some grotesque fashion, half naked, nailed to a piece of wood,... and that this would somehow make it all better. Of course god chose for all of this to take place in an illiterate barbaric part of the Palestine as well, when at the time it was the Chinese who had literature and science.





I guess ';mysterious'; is one way of putting it. I prefer to call it ';stupid design'; theory.





So here is my question:





Do you think that when Jesus comes again, if God sends him again,... will those guys get it right this time? Or will this stupid, pathetic childish fairy tale have to continue for another 2000 years?Christians? is it really true that God/Jesus will be returning soon to sort things out?

Miracles are happening daily now on a new scale. He is coming as soon as the fall of 2010. I have overwhelming proof and world events are confirming it. The days will be shortened for his return per the bible.The anti-christ will lose an arm and an eye per the bible. %26lt;-Obama! Watch this happen soon.

You have a lot in common with the Jehovah's Witnesses. They think things are much worse today, too. I don't see how anyone can actually look at history and come to that conclusion.

Jesus will soon be coming again to this world to set in motion the final chapter of earth's history.
It's not about having a totally peachy and nice life... We already got kicked out of the Garden of Eden, so this is our punishment. Jesus didn't come to make everything perfect.

Have you really read the Bible to find out why things are the way they are? God created a perfect world, and then Satan stepped in, deceived Adam and brought all of the misery of which you speak you speak on mankind.





And why do people always seem to blame God for Satan's works? You obviously know little if anything about Jesus' teachings or you would know better than to ask such questions. Please understand, I am not being sarcastic, just making a statement.





Please, try reading the Scriptures, and re-think the issue.
Jesus Christ was sent to pay for our sins. It's not that hard to understand if you read the Bible. For someone who seems so smart, you seem to lack knowledge of what your question is apposing.





Were they really illiterate? Writing etc? I never knew that was defined as illiterate.
