If eternal life after death of any disciple of Jesus is TRUE, why then Jesus resurrected Lazarus?

When the good man and disciple of Jesus named Lazarus died, Jesus got so upset and he wept.

Why did Jesus weep and even resurrected Lazarus if Jesus knew and taught his disciples (Christians) that the ending of the good people after death is eternal life in heaven?

Can it be that the Christian faith is full of error?

There could be spiritual rebirth while alive to experience heaven ( a place full of joy, peace and righteousness) but no more ETERNAL life after death. (from dust to dust)If eternal life after death of any disciple of Jesus is TRUE, why then Jesus resurrected Lazarus?
The Jews needed signs. It was just another sign to prove in the deity of Christ. Only God can raise someone from the dead. Jesus proved that He is God.If eternal life after death of any disciple of Jesus is TRUE, why then Jesus resurrected Lazarus?
Because 'eternal life' is NOT the ending of the good people after death. The bible says this is eternal life:

John 17:3

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

From dust to dust is the fate of the flesh. Not the spirit. Jesus life on earth was to, in part, experience what man experiences. That includes the pain of death. Mankind is not impressed with He who has the power over the spirit. This is why the resurrection of the flesh was shown - so that man might know Gods power. God often uses the physical world to try to explain the spiritual realm. Marriage, life, and death are a few examples of this.
Jesus said that Lazarus is alseep John 11:11.....those who die in Christ are asleep in the grave awaiting the resurrection, they arent in heaven yet, jesus calls death a sleep all through the bible....and the lost arent in hell yet for that matter, they are also asleep in the grave awaiting the resurrection......and there are 2 resurrections in the bible, the 1st resurrection for the saved which happens when Jesus comes back and they all go to heaven together, not at death....then there is the 2nd resurrection which is for the lost that happens at the end of the one thousand years....and they are thrown into the lake of fire along with satan and his angels....no one is in heaven or hell right now.
Can it be that the Christian faith is full of error?

No.

Why did Jesus weep ?

He was sensible to the suffering of Martha and Mary (sisters of Lazarous) who were crying. Separation from loved ones causes pain, suffering, no matter that we will see them in the eternal afterlife, it still hurts now.

Ressurecting Lazaraus after 3 days was a miracle, with the intention of glorify God.
Because nowhere in the Bible will you find that the soul is immortal. In fact, at Ezekiel 18:4, it says that souls, and yes, it uses that word, souls - die.

Christendom teaches that the soul is immortal.

Not the Bible.

Christianity, is not Christendom. And Christendom, is not true Christianity. So it's not the Christian faith that is full of error. But much of Christendom. (Which Jesus and Paul also prophesied would happen - 1 Timothy 4:1-3, Matthew 7:21-23 and Matthew 13:24-30 and vs 36-43 to name just a few)

The Bible really teaches, that the dead are asleep, and conscious of nothing:

';“Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.” Therefore the disciples said to him: “Lord, if he has gone to rest, he will get well.” Jesus had spoken, however, about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. At that time, therefore, Jesus said to them outspokenly: “Lazarus has died'; - John 11:11-14

';The soul that is sinning, that soul shall die'; - Ezekiel 18:4

';For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten ... All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.'; - Ecclesiastes 9:5,10

The Bible teaches that a soul is not immortal, but can be resurrected. (John 5:28,29) The Hebrew word for this is ';techki-yath-hamma-THEEM';, or ';the standing up again';, of the dead. That the soul can be brought back to being a living soul. But it never teaches that it's inherently immortal.

Thus, we arrive at the resurrection of Lazarus. A man, whose soul had died. Jesus wept, because death is an enemy, and is often called an enemy in the Bible. Death hurts. I firmly believe that my loved ones will be resurrected. But that doesn't take away the pain in the here and now.

Thus, Jesus resurrected, or caused Lazarus to 'stand up again' to life (John 5:28,29) once he was dead. It wouldn't make much sense to bring Lazarus back to life, if he was alive in heaven. In fact, it'd be pretty cruel.

Speaking of death, Psalms 146:4 states: ';His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish';

It's a promise that's held out to all of mankind, once God's Kingdom takes full control of earths affairs, with Jesus as it's King. Jesus, who has already shown he has this power.

';And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite'; - Daniel 2:44

';But he said to them: “Also to other cities I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth'; - Luke 4:43

';Your dead ones will live. A corpse of mine—they will rise up'; - Isaiah 26:19

';With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them.  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'; - Revelation 21:3,4

In fact, Jesus himself said that no one, up to that point, had gone to heaven

';Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man'; - John 3:13

And even after Peters death, Peter stated that David was still dead, and did not ascend into heaven.

';Actually David did not ascend to the heavens'; - Acts 2:34

A few people would die, and then be resurrected to life in heaven. But they would have a very, very specific job to do there, and it would be to be a part of that Kingdom that Daniel talked about.

';And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,  and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.'; - Revelation 5:9,10
Eternal life isn't something you get after you die. If you have it, you have always had it and always will. There will be a generation that will not die.
Yeah, it seems like a really dick thing for Jesus to do.

';Thought you were in heaven?? Sorry, I'm bringing you back to Earth, and you'll have to live in a dusty Roman-controlled country for a while longer!!';.
'I am the Resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: AND whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?'
13th disciple?
